Professional Development for Classroom Teachers
"Marble Pyramids and other "Low Floor / High Ceiling" Math Tasks"
During this workshop, we will be discussing one way of reaching struggling and excelling students simultaneously: through "low floor, high ceiling" math tasks. These problems have multiple points of entry and a rich invitation to deeply extend thinking.
Workshops are organized by Leslie Banes and Chelsea Le, experienced classroom teachers from the UC Davis School of Education doctoral program.
