If the merger is successful, that combined entity would also instantly be the most unpopular company in America. According to the results of an extensive new study that many people will find unsurprising considering the results of similar surveys in the past, Time Warner Cable and Comcast are the two most hated brands in America.

This might be our first look at Samsung’s new Galaxy S6
Samsung is reportedly designing its upcoming flagship Android smartphone from scratch, as it’s not happy with the way other recent Galaxy S models were received by fans. It’s still not clear what that means, with some rumors suggesting the Galaxy S6 might have a special curved display and a metal case. Some of the leaks have also shown alleged metal casings for the handset, with others revealing more details about the phone’s specs. Adding further fuel to the fire is online publication Toranji.ir, which claims it has obtained pictures showing Galaxy S6 prototypes.

Apple just gave Europeans the App Store feature we’ve all been clamoring for
Apple’s iTunes is already a hugely popular digital content source for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Windows users, and things might get even better for European iTunes account holders, CNET reports. The iPhone maker has been forced to update its iTunes terms of service in order to add a “14-day, no-questions-asked return policy for all content purchased through iTunes, the App Store and iBooks,” as the publication puts it.

iPhone and iPad destroyed the competition this Christmas
Apple’s iPhone and iPad were best-selling devices this Christmas, analytics company Flurry has discovered when looking at device activations during the period. Combined, Apple’s iOS gadgets accounted for 51.3% of total activations worldwide in the week leading up to and including Christmas Day (December 19th to December 25th).

Elon Musk’s SpaceX is preparing for its craziest rocket test yet
Tesla isn’t the only potentially revolutionary company founded by Elon Musk, as the Tesla boss is also the CEO of SpaceX, a company that’s trying to make space travel feasible for more people. One of the biggest projects that SpaceX has been working on has been the development of reusable rockets that are able to land safely on the ground again, which would make space travel much more cost effective than it currently is.

The Telegraph reports that Apple is currently in talks with several major UK banks regarding the implementation of its mobile payment service. The rollout is expected to begin within the first half of next year.

Game of Thrones was once again the most pirated show of the year
Pirates just can’t get enough of HBO’s fantasy smash hit. TorrentFreak reports that Game of Thrones was the most downloaded TV show of the year, making this the third year in a row that the show has taken the top spot. The season finale alone was downloaded more than 8 million times from BitTorrent, putting it leagues ahead of the next most popular downloads.
