Belgium Terror Raids 
An alleged plot for a large-scale attack on police facilities was foiled today in one of three raids by Belgian police on suspected jihadists. Two armed and dangerous suspects were killed in a ferocious firefight in the typically-quiet city of Verviers, with a third arrested. And NBC’s Richard Engel reports there may be a link to the Paris attacks.

Pope’s Free Speech Stance 
As more of the Paris massacre victims were buried today and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in France, the Pope said “there is a limit” to freedom of speech when it comes to religion. He compared Charlie Hebdo’s brand of satire to that of “a swear word” against one’s mother. “One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people's faith,” said the Holy Father.
