Case maker with Samsung ties may have just leaked images of the Galaxy S6
Verus is a popular smartphone case maker based in South Korea, the very same country where Samsung is headquartered. The company has been in business for years, and it has issued images of its cases for unreleased smartphones in the past that have turned out to accurately represent the phones in question. Now, Verus has seemingly confirmed that the Galaxy S6 renders we’ve seen recently are indeed accurate representations of the Galaxy S6 flagship phone Samsung is set to unveil in less than four weeks. Even better, it apparently just leaked images of the actual Galaxy S6 handset.

New leaked images might be our best look yet at the HTC One M9
The HTC One M9 is going to be HTC’s 2015 flagship Android smartphone, and likely one of the best smartphones to hit stores this year, at least considering what HTC has done with previous HTC One models. Unsurprisingly, following the large numbers of leaks that have either offered specs or images of the HTC One M9 (also referred to as HTC Hima), Nowhereelse has published a new set of pictures that show the metal case of the handset, painted in gold.

The FCC’s new net neutrality proposal everyone is so excited about may have a huge loophole
We won. The Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday took a huge step toward realizing web users’ dream of a truly free Internet; an Internet where net neutrality is real and service providers are barred from boosting their bottom lines by allowing big corporations to pay for priority pipelines. The Commission announced a new proposal that would see broadband Internet service reclassified as a utility under Title II of the Telecommunications Act. Even a few short weeks ago, it seemed impossible that we would even get this far… but it looks like there is a pretty serious loophole in the new proposal that could be a big roadblock for net neutrality down the line.

Apple is making a Netflix rival
Cable TV is on its way out and streaming shows over the Internet is the future. Apple is smart enough to see this, which is why it doesn’t want to be left behind without a streaming service of its own to take on Netflix, Hulu and Sling TV. Re/code reports that Apple has given up trying to work with incumbent cable companies on creating its own streaming service and is now working directly with content providers themselves.

Does Ballmer’s shadow still loom over Microsoft?
It’s been a year since Satya Nadella took over but there’s some debate among Microsoft observers over just how much he’s left his stamp on the company. On the one hand, we have The Wall Street Journal’s Shira Ovide, who writes that Nadella has drastically changed Microsoft’s approach to dealing with Silicon Valley. On the other, we have Ars Technica’s Peter Bright, who argues that Microsoft remains Ballmer’s company despite giving Nadella credit for changing its overall image.

Visit ‘Jurassic World’ before the movie comes out with this ‘live’ park cam
Fans of Jurassic Park are understandably hesitant about the revival of the franchise later this year, but it’s hard not to get swept up in the excitement, especially now that we can see the renovated park for ourselves with Universal’s park cam. This week, the studio behind Jurassic World launched a page featuring “live” webcams broadcasting from different locations within Jurassic World. Of course, there is no real Jurassic World and no one is actually lined up to see these attractions, but it’s an incredibly clever advertisement for the film.
