Join KQED and fellow MASTERPIECE fans on Saturday, March 28 at the Castro Theatre for a preview of the premiere episode of Wolf Hall based on Hilary Mantel's Booker Prize-winning novels.
 
 
Mark Rylance (Twelfth Night) is Thomas Cromwell, a brutal blacksmith’s son who deftly picks his way through a court where "man is wolf to man." Damian Lewis (Homeland) is King Henry VIII, haunted by his brother's death and obsessed with protecting the Tudor dynasty with a male heir.

The cast also includes Claire Foy (Little Dorrit) as Anne Boleyn, Anton Lesser (Endeavour) as Thomas More, Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) as Stephen Gardiner, Joanne Whalley (The Borgias) as Katherine of Aragon, and Jonathan Pryce (Cranford) as Cardinal Wolsey.

Wolf Hall premieres Sunday, April 5 at 9pm on KQED 9
