Facts and Tips about Cholesterol Drugs By Beth Isaac, PharmD
|
Is it time to refill your prescription for your new cholesterol-lowering drug? Here's a quick tip to help you remember to refill your prescription each month. Each time to pick up your medication, mark your calendar or set a reminder or alarm on your phone or computer for the following month so you refill your prescription again before it runs out.
It is always a good idea to call your pharmacy for a refill a few days before you run out of your medication, just in case they don't have enough for you in stock.
