J Balvin Earns First No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs Chart 
Rising star J Balvin scores his first No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs as "Ay Vamos" hops 4-1 in its 25th week on the chart (dated March 7). The track takes Digital Gainer honors, climbing 78 percent (to 5,000 downloads sold in the week ending Feb. 22, according to Nielsen Music), fueled in part by a performance of the song on Univision's Premio Lo Nuestro award show on Feb. 19, where he took home four awards including Urban Artist of the Year.

Regional Mexican Artist Ariel Camacho Dead at 22 
DEL Records artist Ariel Camacho died in a car accident early Wednesday (Feb. 25) in his native Sinaloa, Mexico. He was 22 years old.
