National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) Updates

A new report, “Trends in Long-acting Reversible Contraception Use among US Women Aged 15-44,” is now available on the NSFG webpage www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg.htm or more directly at http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db188.pdf.
The report, by Amy Branum and Jo Jones describes long-term trends in IUD and implant use as forms of current contraception reported by women aged 15-44 at the time of interview. Results are presented by age, race and Hispanic origin, and number of previous births, using the 1982, 1995, 2002, 2006-2010, and 2011-2013 National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG).
