Apple rolls out a $10,000 Apple Watch
Apple is moving from your pocket to your wrist. The company on Monday gave the full Apple product-release treatment to its new wearable device, the Apple Watch.The device can send and receive messages or answer phone calls -- all with a finger swipe -- and even replace your hotel room key. It will start at $349, but climbs to $549 for a mid-tier version. The widely anticipated 18-karat gold version will start at $10,000 and only be sold at select stores. HBO’s streaming service launches first on Apple devices for $14.99 per month

Health care for veterans goes high tech
When Barbara Van Dahlen was brainstorming ways to address veterans’ mental-health needs 10 years ago, she was inspired by Craigslist and the way the site made it easy for buyers to find sellers. “I thought — I should be able to use technology to connect mental-health professionals all over the country with veterans and their families,” said Van Dahlen, a licensed clinical psychologist and president of nonprofit group Give an Hour.
