NAB chief claims broadcasters keener to sell spectrum after AWS-3 auction


VIDEO INTERVIEW: The enormous $44.9 billion raised by the AWS-3 spectrum auction has made broadcasters more eager to participate in the sale of their 600MHz frequencies, said Gordon Smith, president and chief executive of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), a lobby group for US radio and TV broadcasters.

UK competition watchdog seeks views on BT/EE merger – report

The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) started the ball rolling in its examination of BT’s £12.5 billion takeover of EE, the largest mobile operator in the UK, by requesting opinions from competitors about what impact a BT-EE entity might have on the mobile and broadband markets.
